Sure doesn't seem like much of a drop. I wonder how much of the gap .8 will close up. So you are definately ordering them? I will have to wait and see what they look like after you show us before I do it, but I definately want to lower it though. Good lookin out for us.

Good? Goods not the word, in my experience, I would say the best :P I had a set of intraxx...Don't ever buy them - they are horrible...It was fantastic, we put them on my car (on a hoist), brought the car down and as the body was starting to rest on the frame, we heard a urrrrkkk sound...

So me and my buddies just were like..ok whatever...so we went for a test drive, went to make a turn and the back spring just snapped...it was very ugly as you can imagine...so yeah, we switched to Eibach and never had one issue.

You think they will be that much? Most of their products fit in that price range. I guess we will have to wait and see when they post up a price!

I found the Eibach Pro Kit on another site. Don't know if I'm allowed to post which site it was, but the price was $259.95. I guess PM me if you want to know the site. There is a different part # for each model of the avenger, but they were all the same price.

Did you ever get those demon eyes?

Bullet85
02-25-2008, 01:52 PM
yea i did but they did not turn out like i wanted them to. It was just the demon rings, but like we tlked b4 about moister and could not get them to point straight out instead they pointed towards the ground. I turn on my headlights and it barley gave me light to c at night.....mayb 3 feet away from the car i could c ...that was a big waste of money but..i called the company cause the rings sucked....i asked them if they had actual headlight replacements and they told me they were working on it...I asked around an estimate of wat they would cost and said around $650, i said no thanx

markio
02-25-2008, 02:15 PM
I didn't think they were meant to provide night time driving light. They are primarily for looks only. They can be used as DRLs, but at night they are not the main headlights. We are talking about the rings that install around each high and low beam circle, right?

Sphinx
02-25-2008, 02:21 PM
Do you still have the rings installed, or did you take them out?

Bullet85
02-26-2008, 09:51 AM
Took them out beacuse they would not sit right on the headlight. It would fall down and block the light from the headlight and point straight to the ground. It was like they were ot made for the avenger a lil small my buddy said that put them on.

Sphinx
02-26-2008, 09:52 AM
What was used to adhere them to the light fixture?

Bullet85
02-26-2008, 09:57 AM
clips that hold it in place on the underside but when u put them on the headlight all is good. But when driving an hit a bump or hole they fall down.....The place i got them from told me they fit but i swear they dont. They told me they r coming out with whole headlight replacement but its gonna cost no less than $650.

Sphinx
02-26-2008, 10:14 AM
So are you returning them? I may be interested in buying them from you...

Bullet85
02-26-2008, 12:30 PM
You dont want to buy broken rings lol...had a lil accident with them....the left one is cracked because when i was removing the light i thought is was seated in there correct but it was on an angle and when pulled it off i bent it and it cracked it...im gonna wait for headlight replacements

Sphinx

Dang... oh well. Sorry to hear they didn't work out... there goes money well spent eh. Just be patient and you will get the product you are wanting. There is a vendor on the Charger side that makes these custom demon eyes. Maybe he will jump on here and make some for us.

Sphinx
03-03-2008, 10:34 AM
That is the going rate over at the Charger forumz. I think for an additional price, he can paint the inside housing for you too. I am going to try to paint my housing sometime, but I am still scarred that I will mess it up... I am known for that.

Good thing AvengerRT bumped this up! lol I did talk to the vendor on the charger side, he is waiting on wholesale pricing on OEM Headlights, then he will join here as a vendor and offer a full replacement housing w/ the demon eyes already installed :D In due time, we are going to have some sweet looking cars :D

There are charger ones already and our lights are pretty much the same, but not positive if it would work. They are sweet though, no bulbs just a ring and a bar.
