View Full Version : Who is going to be the first?
Sphinx 03-18-2008, 09:02 AM So I found some new tail light bulbs... but I want to see if someone wants to be the guinea pig! They are called spider lites! Here is what they look like:

They just go into your tail light like your regular bulb, and then they fold out into the five legs. They also have a three leg version...
So who is going to be the first to get them?
kls2000 03-18-2008, 09:07 AM what do they different or how do they look? any idea?
Sphinx 03-18-2008, 09:15 AM Here is a picture of them in a tail light:

Sphinx 03-20-2008, 11:35 AM I have talked to the wife, and she is like 'So why do you need more lights?' So I am going to try to get them this summer, but I need to see how the cash flow is... I am starting a new job next week, and my car payment is higher than it was since I bought this car...
$100 bucks a pop lessons my desire for new taillights.

Being LEDs they will last much longer - maybe longer than your car. :)
josho66 03-23-2008, 04:51 PM Just not my cup of tea and I think I could find something else to spend a $100 on.

mfrec2000 04-18-2008, 03:50 PM I got them for 100 for the pair and the regulators were 19 each i think. The original site that was posted sells the regulators also. The regulator just goes inline in the wire before the bulb.I have mine tucked under the rug right behind each tail light.Zee thanks for the other site too cause I think my next project is to replace all of my bulbs with leds.

josho66 04-18-2008, 03:57 PM I am hoping that an aftermarket company will come out with a replacement taillight with LEDs like they have for the charger and 300.
Crony 04-20-2008, 10:56 AM I like those...on my possibility list.
