I was talking to a guy who does a lot of eBay stuff, and I mentioned to him that I was looking for a new leather steering wheel. He said that the Sebring wheel would fit our cars... I started looking at it, and I am not sure about it...
Here is the Avenger:

And here is the seebring:

Does anyone have any thoughts?

The Sebring's steering wheel does look very cheap.

It has wood at the top... it is suppose to be the luxury version...

The mounts look the same so it should hook right up but the issue is that you will have to get a new airbag to go with it which may be a little expensive. Then you may have to get it re-wrapped so that it matches the color of your car.

Well, if I got the Sebring version, I would want to use my Avenger airbag... which should work as long as the plugs are the same. The only real issue I have here is the airbag cover on the Avenger is not the same shape as the Sebring... I am not sure this mod is worth it... lol.

That seems like a lot of work for something that may not work. I would hate to see you go to all that effort, then get in an accident and the airbag deploy incorrectly.
What is so wrong with the stock wheel anyway.:4-dontknow:
The Sebring wheel will fit but your Avenger airbag will not. I would suggest that you wait for a leather Avenger wheel on ebay. BTW a wheel from the dealer will cost about $235.

At one time there was a leather Avenger wheel on e-bay for a decent price. There is a center console with a manual 6 speed shifter with heated/cooled cupholders on there now.
I remember that wheel too, because I bought it. :smiley_thumbs_up: Usually with e-bay I get outbid in the last 2 seconds but this time it worked out, the wheel cost only $35. One of these days I'll get the radio controls to work.

I am still working on finding out some information on those radio controls... and I was suppose to bid on that wheel too... so who knows, maybe you would have got sniped lol.

I used to have a bunch of these - not sure if that's something interested in but I will tell you one thing, they are a pain to put on.
