View Full Version : Chrysler Listens
Quiet Lunatic 03-31-2008, 10:57 PM I mentioned in one of my posts early on - about getting the employee price - I mentioned that my sister works at Chrysler HQ. Anyway, she sent me the following the other day.
"Chrysler LLC launched the industry’s first online Customer Advisory Board to establish ongoing two-way dialogue with customers and gain their insights on product features and technologies. This online community will allow for ongoing two-way dialogue and will provide a combination of social networking, community building and collaboration technologies in an intuitive and scalable platform. How does it work? To participate in the Customer Advisory Board, consumers are invited to submit an application at http://www.chryslerlistens.com "
The left side lets you simply give them your ideas or recommendations. The right side lets you give your name and email address for a chance at being invited to become a member of the Customer Advisory Board.
DM6156 04-01-2008, 06:38 AM I received an email invitation and filled out their little online form some days ago.
I have written and complained several times to dodge/chrysler about various issues. I think that's why I received the email invitation to fill out the form for their customer advisory board.

Quiet Lunatic 04-01-2008, 08:30 AM I signed up as well, but I recommended that they don't release the SRT6 for 34 more months :D
dodgeavenger4life 04-01-2008, 08:34 AM Does anyone know for sure if they are going to come out with an srt6 because i would love to get one when i turn my jeep in on it s lease

It's been rumored but nothing official but it actually could be any of the vehicles, even the challenger will have a v6 in it for the 2009. They can literally stick a v6 in any vehicle they want, but I have no idea what the SRT division is planning, I know they didn't expect this much of a demand back in the viper/prowler days. They could even start having srt6/srt8's of the same line which would be really wierd...hopefully not, but never know - it's a new day! lol
dodgeavenger4life 04-01-2008, 10:29 AM They will probably do a SRT V8 with the Challenger since it has the big muscle look to it. It only makes since to go with the bigger engine with it. Leaving the SRT V6 to the Avenger, it least that is what I hope.
Quiet Lunatic 04-01-2008, 10:35 AM They already have the SRT8 Challenger http://www.dodge.com/en/2009/challenger/
That's the only one you can "build" on the Dodge site.
And yes. It's got a Hemi :)

Yeah there's a lot of SRT8's though...that's what is making me nervous...they HAVE to step into the 6's now, but there was only one SRT-4 line, and one SRT-6 line...and a couple SRT-8's if I remember correctly, but now that there is a SRT8 Charger, SRT8 Grand Cherokee, SRT8 Challenger, 300 SRT8 - so I doubt they will combine the srt's on the same line...but that leaves the avenger, sebring, nitro, journey, liberty, dakota, durango, commander, and the wrangler.
I believe I even read that it might even be the nitro - but if they have 2 dodge SRT8's, why not have 2 SRT6's...

dodgeavenger4life 04-03-2008, 09:42 AM I really dont think they would do another srt jeep and the journey is too minivan stylish so i wouldn't think they would use that one. The sebring sales don't compare to the avenger and nitro so i think sebring is out. I do see them using the nitro or the avenger, either one would be great but i would rather see the avenger with a srt badge.

Same here - one of these days we will find out for sure! :)
AvenDanger 04-03-2008, 09:58 AM I think they would sell more srt avengers than nitros, but then they already have so many srt cars and only one srt truck, so I could see where the nitro would fill out their line up. I can tell you that if they come out with one in a year or so, we'd be trading in my stupid ford on a new srt for my wife, and i'd take her r/t, but could't care less about a nitro.

Yeah I don't care for the nitro's...they remind of the Scion xB...and I really hate that box car lol
AvenDanger 04-03-2008, 10:26 AM One of our old neighbors has a silver xB. He calls it the toaster.

LOL Awesome analogy!

I think it looks more like a Range Rover - with fender flares. And I like it. But then I also liked the first Avenger concept. :)

Yeah, I know. I like my vehicles to look different from most others. Not different fugly though, just different than average.
Aztec = fugly
Caliber = different
2003 Avenger Concept = different

This segment was 10% of auto sales in the first two months this year, and up from the same period last year. And Chrysler has nothing in that segment. Dodge would be their best brand for that segment.
Yeah, I know. The Avenger concept looks truck-ish. But remember, it's a concept and the final production version would be more refined - and probably wouldn't come with truck tires. lol

Chrysler/Dodge will have a crossover soon enough. :)
Just not soon enough for me.

LOL Hey now, no need bring the benzo in this...the benzo is "Baller" - those are just....hideous
I'm so glad they didn't make the Avenger like that concept car. I'm pissed that they got rid of the Neon. You would think with gas going up a decent econbox would be the ticket. I remember when you could get a Dodge Shadow America for $6995. Those Shadows were very reliable cars, I had a '92 Shadow ES for 8 years and it was rock solid.
Avenged 04-08-2008, 04:15 PM Hey, about "Chrysler Listens".....
Age, Gender, Nationality. If not American, "Thank you for your interest but you do not fit our target demographic."
Thanks Chrysler. I guess I have no ideas for helping.

You are only part of the target demographic when they want to sell you something. :4-looney:
