I use to be very cheap and would use soup cans to patch up a bad exhaust pipe. It worked for a few days. When the exhaust pipe would start to hang low, I would use a coat hanger to hold it in place. Boy I miss my grand father, he taught all his grand kids how to save a few bucks.

Or even the exhaust adapters, I've surprised my husband by prolonging having to take it in. My husband wanted to take it in right away, But I said "Naw you got time". Ya I guess I'm cheap!!! It did last a while too.

One time I stuck tomatoes up an exhaust pipe and they did shoot out like a cannon ball.

lol, reminds me of the days when I used to get poker cards and a clothes line pin and put it on the spokes of my bicycle. I think thats where the term young,dumb and full of ........ came from.

I used to use Football and Baseball cards in the 60's and 70's. I sometimes but rarely used players cards. I thought it was cool on my banana seat bike. But the problem is I used rookie cards and most of those are worth money now. It figures.
