View Full Version : New toys for the R/T
Quiet Lunatic 11-25-2007, 12:38 AM I have picked up a three gauge set. I have the oil temp, water temp and the air fuel ratio gauges. I like the gauge setup that the StormTrooper Avenger has, that I'm going to have an on dash three gauge pod custom made. Still working on a long list of mods that need to get done.
Zonestar 11-25-2007, 04:41 AM Definitely keep us informed with any problems you had installing the gauges and of course pictures. If you start to run out space to store attachments you can become a site supporter which will increase your storage space. Another way to post pictures is to use photobucket. I actually use both. I been thinking about adding a trio gauge set to mine also. I would pick oil pressure, oil temp, and a volt gauges.

I never thought of the oil pressure gauge and that should have been a gauge to get first. Thanks for reminding me by posting the gauges your going to get. I'll have one today, and I'll drop the water temp gauge from the install. The reason I'm going with an air to fuel ratio gauge, is because of the Jet chip and possibly a performance programer if one comes available(sp). This way I can keep on eye on how lean or rich I'm running. I have talked with the dealership that I buy my Dodges from, and this install is going to be done by them for me. They also state that my warrenty will not be void do to this install.
I'm going to become a site supporter also,... I have already talked with the site owner on becomeing one.
Zonestar 11-25-2007, 09:50 AM You are definitely going to have one of the hottest Avengers here and also proving to be an asset to everyone.:D

Thank you Zonestar, I hope I can help this site out. We Avenger owners need a site like this.
AvengerRT 11-26-2007, 08:03 AM regandon, what color dash do you have? If you have something custom made, maybe if you can get enough on here to go in with you on a group buy, it would be cheaper for everyone? Just a thought...
Quiet Lunatic 11-26-2007, 06:03 PM My dash is two tone gray. I'll show pic's of the pod when it is complete so everyone can see, and tell me what they think.
Shadowvenger 11-26-2007, 06:09 PM Regandon your Avenger sounds hot! I look forward to seeing the pictures. Hopefully you will have pictures while in progress and at the end of the project.

Pretty cool! Thanks for the link!
KDmospdRT 11-27-2007, 09:10 AM Yeah, thanks for the link. I look forward to seeing the mods that you choose to do. Thanks for sharing
markio 11-28-2007, 11:11 AM They have that same exact kit on e-bay cheaper, if you all are serious in buying one. At least check it out first, could save a few bucks. I posted another kit as well.

KDmospdRT 11-28-2007, 11:29 AM I don't think I would go with wood grain, maybe something that would batch whatever color vinyl I get. I'm not a big fan of wood grain but to each it's own... Well maybe in the Infinity's.
Thanks for the links and 180+ isn't that bad at all.
markio 11-29-2007, 10:27 AM I am thinking of getting the real aluminum kit that is on e-bay, or quite possibly black carbon fiber. I wish I could just see what it would look like first, ya know?

The black carbon fiber might be nice...
markio 11-29-2007, 01:22 PM I know, but I would hate to spend $200 bucks and it not look right. I bought some aftermarket gas and brake pedals that are aluminum and black carbon fiber, so either way I go they go with the theme. My buddies all say to go with the carbon. I have to decide soon, cause that is one of my Christmas presents.
KDmospdRT 11-29-2007, 01:43 PM Email the vendor and ask them to send you sample pictures of your choices.
markio 11-29-2007, 02:17 PM Yeah, good idea.
repped ya, too.

I wonder what the return policy is if unopened?
ckmett 03-29-2008, 11:49 PM So did anyone ever order a set. I was just looking at the carbon fiber myself, but would like to see some pics of a dash of an avenger done first.
markio 03-30-2008, 07:51 AM Lol, no I didn't. I ended up getting a Playstation 3 instead with the Christmas money. Then a few weeks later got a 52" Sony Bravia XBR LCD to go with it. So needless to say I took a slight break on buying stuff. I am going to hold off a while on the dash kits and do some performance stuff first. Next up - exhaust!!
davect01 03-30-2008, 02:44 PM That's going to look great, where did you find a gauge pod?
