Anyone added a set of rear speakers that didn't get the Boston Accustics option?

I have added these 6X9 (http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?search=TS%2DA6962R&i=130TSA6962) and bought the adapters (http://www.crutchfield.com/App/Product/Item/Main.aspx?i=12071050&tp=3097) also. On crutchfield it says that they wont fit but i didnt have a problem. They did sit up a little bit higher then the factory ones but i cut out the extra padding for the middle part of the speaker (see attachment) and every thing sits flush on there rear deck. I cant say how they would sound with the factory stereo because i have an after market one in there now but they sound excellent with my stereo and highly recommend them.

Yeah, I definitely switched all my speakers. I put in Alpine SPR-69C's, crutchfield said they wouldn't fit without modification but they seemed to have gone in great, they sound great.. just running them off my deck (22watts RMS) for now, ordered a nice amp to power them.. subs later :P

Did It Make A Difference In The Sound Quality. Are You Still Using The Stock Deck Or Aftermarket
