Has anyone else heard of a number 2 cylinder misfire, I bought my car about a month ago, and I was told it was the 2nd one in as many days coming in with the same problem and the same cylinder, just wondering if anyone else has heard about the same problem.
Thanks
And incase no one has recieved anything from dodge yet there is a recall for the tire pressure monitor wiring if you don`t have that feature the wiring needs to be cut.

hey, i have the 2.7 and i occasionally get a cyl 4 misfire... the weird thing is it only happens when i remote start it and only if it is hot outside,.. so needless to say i just dont use the remote start on hot days,... keep us updated on what the fix is. and yea ive had that recall done, as well as the door clips and the trans control module flash.

Mine too happened when it was hot, on a raod trip for work and noticed the slugish feel when I tried passing and the next morning the engine light was on, they cleaned the plug and said oil build up got between the spark plug and wiring.

'Oil build up' that sounds abit weird.
Can I ask how many km/miles you done? Thanks in advance.
How do you get oil with a COP (Coil On Plug) setup? Do they mean the connector to the COP had oil in it or the actual plug had oil on it?

21000kms I bought used obviously even thought I have put almost 3000 kms in the one month thats the reason I couldn`t buy new, but I did a history check on my avenger before I bought it (I use to work for Chyrsler dealership) and all was good, I sold the cars for 5 yrs, I`m not gonna lie to anyone I`m not mech. inclined, I see the guys again on Friday so I will get the info again from the mechs. and post what they tell me.

Grease not oil build up on the spark plug and the wire connection, was what the mech told me, since he cleaned the connections and the plugs tips I haven`t had any problems, however I haven`t taken it on a long road trip, with the engine stay hot too long, I find out if then if there are any problems with the engine again.
