Got it yesterday! Install was pretty easy.....But man what a diffrence. This is the intake with the optional cold air kit. I am going to get it on a DYNO next week. I will post results so we can all see what kind of power gains we are getting.:knee7rm:

It is amazing how much extra power is found with just changing out the air intake. I am excited to see the real results of a dyno test, the old but seat dyno is all I have.
Now if someone will hurry up and get a programmer finished I will be happy.

They said they still dont have a 3.5L avenger to test on yet so if anybody knows anybody near there with an r/t it would be nice if you coudl get their car over there

Is there much of a sound difference??

The sound is awsome....I have been running mine on the 2.4L for 6 months or so and I love it. I had ordered it custom back then. A great buy for the price. plus you have the option of going short ram or adding the extra pipe for cold air. The kits are complete and have everything you need. You can see pics in my posts or on my home page in my alblum. hope this helped. the throttle response is more crisp.

I know I'm going to get bombarded for asking this question, but will taking the air box and all the stock air filter equipment out and putting the CAI on void the warranty? (I payed $2700 for the extended and would really rather not void it).

Installing the intake and removing the stock equipment will not void the warranty unless it is determined the aftermarket components caused the factory installed equipment to fail.

Your best bet would be to keep all of the stock parts and re-install them if you need to take your Avenger in for repairs.

No it won't. It protected by the "Magnusson Moss act"

it shouldnt void your warrenty cuz mopar makes a cold air intake for the 3.5l engines,, so a cold air intake shouldnt void your warrenty

thanks, now they just need to make one for the 2.7L lol.

i wonder if they made one yet for the 2.7l or 3.5l cuz i know they said befor that they usually test it on 3 different cars with that engine befor they sell um.. but im wondering if they did if they still had the measurements if we could buy one custom made instead of waiting for them to mass produce
