Just finished up on the sound system install in my show car. All speakers are Boston and the two 10" Boston Subs are the G2 high end subs. The Amps are Kenwood's high end 1200W KAC-X10D and 800W KAC-X40. Anything that was plastic inside the car, was paded and over laided in leather. The car is a cammed 08 Eclipse. Every wire under the hood is coverd with chrome loom. Which is the same stuff use to cover the wires going to the Amps. At some point and time I will get my R/T finished up.

Yes I do. It's not the best pic, but I will be taking more on sunday. The car look's alot better than this photo of it.

The Eclipse line is a great car and it looks like you are having fun with it.

It has been a fun project. Out of the four generations of Eclipse's, I think the 4th gen. is the nice's looking, and the best one in performance.

The car only gained 85lb's in weight. I had removed the spare tire and replaced the plastic back panels with masonite coverd in leather. Those plastic back panels weight quite a bit.

The big show in my area is in Aug. which will be my first one. I still have to get my rim's put on and get my carbon fiber hood and back hatch installed befor the show.

What type of SQ competition is it?? IASCA, USAC, I don't remember the others. I use to be hugh into audio competitions. Just ran out of money for those kind of things when I got married and had kids. I hope to have a show type cruiser car when my older son graduates in 6 years.

A good friend of mine is the head of MERA, and he is getting me set up into competition. I'm new at all this stuff, and as soon as I know, I'll let you know. If I do good I have a chance to get sponsership's from some of the major audio makers.
