For Sale. Stock Exhaust for a 2008 Avenger R/T. It has 13,710 miles on it. Still in beautiful shape as you can see.
9'1" long
39.5" wide outside to outside at the tips.

New would be ~$350. I would like to let it go for $150.00
Reasonable offers accepted.

I will only accept PayPal or cash. I live in the Metro Detroit area.

Heres what it sounds like:
http://www.avengerforumz.com/showthread.php?t=39907

P.S. It takes about 15 minutes to remove your old exhaust and bolt this on. Connects right behind the catalytic converter and will install on any model Avenger - 2.4, 2.7 and 3.5L. bump.

Will fit on any Avenger. Bolts on in 15 min. Bump.

Not sure where you are referencing. The top of the "suitcase" has lots of little bumps in it.

There is a factory clearance depression just after the turn towards the rear from the resonator. Not a dent. Something done to the pipe at the factory.

Man, I have no idea what shipping will be. My bet is rather high, going 2/3 across the US. Would probably have to go freight. Ill call my local shipper tomorrow and ask. It would probably drop price if I cut it down into smaller pieces but then you would have to get someone to weld it back together.

Yes, it will literally just bolt on and should use the hangers from the existing exhaust.

well i would never want it cut. i might just have to get it from moparparts.

The small dent is a "clearance bend". Yes, just bolts on and could reuse the existing rubber hook catchers.

greetings!

Take a look at the picture! Even an R/T starts with a single pipe off the engine out of the catalytic converter. The exhaust I purchased from whitewolf came OFF his 2.4L and bolted right onto my 3.5L R/T. Took less than 15min.

The only thing you will need is the rubber hangers from your existing exhaust and MAYBE an additional hanger for the driver side pipe (but whitewolf told me his 2.4L already had the hanger ring for that side).

Eek, I'd love to buy it, but I live all the way in Thunder bay :S I'm looking for dualie exhaust, and the bolt-on things really appeals to me. I want something I can do for myself!

It is 9'1" long and 34.5" wide. To ship it would require a dual pallette unless I cut it in half.

what would this sound like on the 2.4? would it give that "ricer" sound? or the deep sound like the RT?

Howdy!

Im not sure what it will sound like. I know there are a couple of folks who have put an R/T exhaust on a 2.4L. I would think it would sound better but the biggest difference will be you will have dual tailpipes rather than a single.

It depends on your location but, without cutting it in half, it will be 2 full pallets in length and would cost ~$200.00 to ship to locations in the continental US. A bit more to California and Oregon.

I'll give you $150 right now threw Pay Pal if you can ship to Northwest Ohio.

eak

$150.00 wouldn't cover the shipping to you.

This bad boy is still for sale. Anyone in Michigan with that skinny single pipe want to upgrade to a nice looking dual pipe?

BTW, I was driving home on Friday and I saw what must have been a 2009 R/T that had R/T badges but it only had the single exhaust, SXT headlights lights and wheels.

Seen that I've just discovered to don't be able to send you pm's at least while I'll not post more than 25 posts, I post here my reply about what you said me about expeditions to Italy.

Sorry for the late reply, I was on vacation.

I understand and I agree with you doubt about the disassembling of that.
I'll try to find another exhaust system more easy to get.
As mentioned here in Europe exists too few avengers to easily find it, so I'm looking for that in USA.

Thanks Again

It would be REALLY expensive. Think 2 pallets and freight charges.

OK, going once, a complete dual exhaust from a 2008 Avenger R/T. Will bolt on to any size engine and use the existing hangars. Bring $20.00 and come get it. If I haven't sold it by 14/November its going out in the trash.

WOW come on!! Some one please take this I would hate to see it hit the trash !! I sold mine and I helped another awd owner do an exhaust I ended up with his and gave it to a friend to use . No need for this to go to waste at 20. If I was closer I would take it just to take it !!!
