After several hours of suffering with removal of the damper pulley I found that the timing sprocket was actually forced into the pulley so bad that even a good puller would not remove it . Finally had to cut the timing belt after aligning the cam timing marks . Then it came right off now i'll have to go to a shop with a press and have it seperated .
Any body else ever run into this .

Well this is wierd but i applied a good peneterting oil (p b blast ) and lit it sit for a few days then i just grabbed the sprocket and it came right off . The rest of the job went like clock work .

Yeah usually had that problem with my Wrangler. Fought a day to get somethin off but sprayed it, let it sit, and came right off. Only thing I've used thats better then PB is Aero-Kroile. Dont have my hook up for that anymore.
