Was not sure where to post this but thought this seem ok... For the first time since i had the car when i opened the door this morning the alarm just started going off. I tried using the keypad but it would not shut it off. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks

Sounds like the battery in you key pad is dead . Change that and you should be fine.

I can still use the keypad to lock and unlock the doors. You think it could still be the battery? I drove to work and when i went to get out it went off again so i just had to wait for it to turn its self off. Could it still be the battery?

Thats weird . If it has enough juice to unlock it should disarm.
Try this .
lock /arm
wait 30 seconds.
unlock/disarm
enter turn key off and on two or 3 times
exit
re arm/lock see if that kicks it back to normal

Ok so while on my lunch break i figured out how to fix it...
With the alarm going you have to close the door turn the key to the left to lock the doors, then turn it to the right and it unlocks the door as well as disarms the alarm system.
