I bought an RER off of Ebay and installed it yesterday and found:

1) Pictures of the whole family,
2) year and type of vehicle ( 2009 Jeep)
3) a cd inside the unit,
4) home address, with directions to get there
5) directions to where they bank, shop, hospital, school, etc.
6) unexpired Sirius sub. (with more channels than I got before)
7) a lot of music on the HDD

This was bought from an individual selling many radios and not the original owner.

Almost feel like I know them!

At first I thought this may be for the older models but it says its for the 2008-09 models. so if this is new then awesome and if its not then its still awesome b/c someones making something for our car lol. so for all you people trying to make your car different...here u go. it's a little pricey but it's worth it if u got the cash.

A lot of these pieces can surely be interchanged across the line.
So, if I want to buy a headlight assy, for example, for an 08 Avenger- why do they need to have the VIN.

The first two times they replaced the battery. The last time they said the battery didn’t die and then I found out they had driven it while they had it in the shop instead of letting it sit. This time when I took it in the service rep who checked me in said that it was normal for the battery to die after sitting for two weeks without starting because of the 14 onboard computers. If this is true then I would say that this is a major design flaw. First sorry for my Bad English.

And now to my problem. My Driver Side Door Mirror is broken and in germany its hard to get a new or used one :-/. I have an Dodge Avenger 2008 SE 2.0 but i think that parts are the same from a 2.4. So the mirror is Black, heated and can be fold, and its electric power controlled. So now im looking for a car part dealer who have this one and ship to germany ( i know a lot of wishes at the same time ). I Hope someone can help me with my problem.

Mods that I made to make the "illusion" are"
(in order of appearance)
1. 3.5 exhaust with dual tips.
2. Katzkin Leather Interior Kit with embroidered Ram's Head in Red on the headrests in Dark Slate.
3. Mopar Heated Seat Kit (as long as I had the upholstery off, had to do this one!)
4. Body Color Heated Sideview Mirrors.

The exhaust bolted right up to the cat, just had to cut out the bumper (scored from factory) on the left for the tip clearance. The added benefit was this improved the performance of the 2.7 immensely. It has much better responsiveness in acceleration.

The Katzkin Leather kit is from Mopar and was really easy to put in, just time consuming...7 hrs! (and as long as I had the seats out putting the heated seat kit only made sense.)

The mod that really floored me was when I inquired about getting body color mirrors from the parts dept., they could be order in body color AND they were less than $100.00 each!!! It took all of 15 minutes to install BOTH of them! The heated mirror feature is also active. The wiring harness in the car is full feature - plug-n-play!

Before I started this mission, I had installed the U-Connect Bluetooth kit so I didn't include that in the price tag of the faux R/T project...
