Default Inertia Motorsports camshafts for the 3.5L HO V6

On many of our other forums, we have this info up:

The world's first aftermarket cam for the 3.5L HO engine. This info is posted on most of the "Z" forums for the Charger, 300 & Challenger.

The first beta tester was "Wishing for Hemi" and so far testing has been going great. He picked up .4 seconds in the 1/4 miles and is close to getting some dyno time in. He is getting married very soon so barely has a spare second to test the car but info will be coming. We have a pre-order list online on the aforementioned forums as well and I'll post it up here too if there is some interest.

You can't get this from any other vendor, anywhere. The Hemi guys have a lot of aftermarket support but we want to support the V6 as well. We are also working on aftermarket heads - those are coming but more R&D needs to be done. The cams Wishing for Hemi got and the ones in the pics above are not the ones going to market. We have a larger grind which is being tested now and if all is successful and Stu is happy with it, that is the one which will be offered for sale.

The price is $300 for the set plus a $200 core exchange on your stock cams (new grinds are not being produces so existing cams are being re-ground into new cams).

I will post more info as we move forward and hope to see some of the members here get in on this - In other words, who will have the world's first cammed Avenger, hmm?

Jacob

very good price for cams. will you also be offering p&p at some time? no one is offering head work, on the 3.5L. custom shops are very expensive, and finding one with enough experience to do heads are are also hard to find. my last question is.......at some point in time do you think there will be any bottom end and top end rebuild performance kits for the 3.5L
sorry about asking about heads read your post over and you already stated heads in the works.

I'd like to do a stroker package for the 3.5 just need an engine to do my development work on. Pistons aren't much of a problem as were a WD with CP pistons. What I really need to do is get my hands on a broke 3.5 to tear down and get the measurements to develope a kit.

every time i see the word cams. all i think about is overlap and lope. what would be nice is a reasonably priced agressive cam for the 3.5

Yeh, the cams we have right now aren't very lopy rather than go to big and have tuning, check engine and valve train issues were starting small and working up. The first run had some good results with dropping the beta test 3.5 charger 0.4 sec on a 1/4 mile run.

I need to just get an engine to start on that way I can get more familiar with the engine and more serious on the cams too. But I can see whats possible in stroker packages.

No and it's highly unlikely there will be. We are the only company offering it for the 3.5 to begin with and even that is an undertaking. To get into another V6 engine wouldn't make a lot of sense as the 3.5 is largest V6 so our efforts for the cams (and soon heads) are focused on that.
