I here talk about Carbon Fiber hoods for Avengers and some people looking at them myself included but just look at this video and make sure you are using proper installation techniques and hood pins because a light hood may be awesome but it may kill you!

I've never really looked at a car with hood pins, Do you have to pop anything inside the car or does any random person have access to your engine by pulling two pins?

Depends on what hood you have IE fiberglass, normally you would leave the factory hood release there as well as the pins.

I have this after market billet grill. So much air is allowed to travel into the engine bay. I was on a road trip going close to 110 mph when i noticed my hood started to vibrate pretty bad. So the folowing week pins were installed. I've gone over 115 mph with no worries since. Did all the work myself.
