I'm an old school drag racer and hot rodder. In 1968-9 I had a '66 Chevelle SS 396 (making 530 hp) that my wife (RIP) drove to work every day and turned 11:40s at 119 mph on Sundays. After being away from the car scene for a while, like 34 years, I wanted something quick but also economical for today. After doing some research, the Dodge Avenger with the Pentastar V6 and 6 speed auto was my choice. I'm looking to installing cold air induction, a chip, 80 mm throttle body and getting a dyno tune then heading for the track this spring or summer. I can work the heck out of an older hot rod, but have not a clue with computerized cars. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Hope to see and meet some of you at Infineon/Sonoma Raceway or Sacramento. Stay safe, drive sane, and LP&H
