Thanks! I just started noticing a steering wheel squeak, and a noisy speaker...but I just had that door replaced so it may not be covered under the tsb anymore :/

I wonder what this is all about, I'll have to research this one.

Pretty sure this is the one where in certain states its illegal to even play the dvd on the front nav screen while in park. I think this is so if your in the "proper" state you can bring it in and they will enable it for you.

Though i'm in michigan and mine was already enabled. Shouldn't be though iirc.

Yes. it is illegal in MD to have that on while the car is in drive..... from what I was told originally the MyGIG was not allowed in MD. but since they put in they added the feature the disables it in drive they can now offer it

So what your saying KD is yours is disabled even while in park? The flash from the dealer only enables it in park, not in drive.

There isn't a "released" flash for in motion dvd playing on the mygig. Though I've been told by those in the know that it can happen. Unfortunately its a big liability issue, so they wouldn't release it.

Edit: Whats dumb about not letting us enable or disable it ourselves because of liability is they already let us disable the belt minder chime. You mean to tell me they think that because they leave a little light on the dash lit that someone isn't going to try to hold them liable by saying "well the manual doesn't state I can't get hurt by disabling it" or something just as idiotic?

If thats so, then why not give us the option for it and leave a little icon lit on the mygig of a car smashed up with a circle slash through it or something?? To remind us of what could happen? But I guess thats a post for a different thread lol.

HA! Classic... and I, and my passengers) can view in park but not in drive. How often will be stopped long enough for an entire DVD to play, "almost" pointless... I mean given during the summer season I may go to a park and can't watch a DVD or music video's... but come on...

The DVD will still play and show on the rear seat screen while driving - the front screen just won't show it.

I have two of these complaints, but it looks like Dodge does not count my car. I have the HVAC whistling, but I don't think my car is within the build date they specify. And my chrome bezel around the shifter looks like I took a shank to it, even though I baby the car and rarely have passengers. (that one says Sebrings only)
I already plan on having the dealer look at other things, so I will bring these up. But I wonder how easy it is to get them to acknowledge a TSB? On my previous car, they basically told me I was stupid when I mentioned TSB's.

I would say the chrome ring around the shifter is nothing to worry about... I know that it should not be scratched but I got a brand new one at the dealer for 3 dollars and change...(got it because i want to paint it not because mine was scratched) not worth my time to bring it up.
