YIKES!!!!

Defect Summary: ON CERTAIN VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH 2.4 LITER ENGINES, THE ENGINE COOLANT MAY BE DRAWN INTO THE LEFT RADIATOR COOLING FAN MOTOR CONNECTOR.


Consequence Summary: THIS CAN CAUSE AN ELECTRICAL SHORT CIRCUIT AND RESULT IN AN ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE.


Corrective Summary: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE CONNECTOR FOR CONTAMINATION OR DAMAGE, INSTALL A WIRING HARNESS OVERLAY, AND REPLACE THE FAN MOTOR FREE OR CHARGE. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN DURING NOVEMBER 2007. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DAIMLERCHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403.

TSB stand for Techncian Service Bullten. It just let other service men at dealerships know how to fix a certain problem if they come across it. If your car is still under warranty then yes a problem is covered. It is like the first step to a recall. If the manufacturer sees alot of TSBs done on a certain problem then they but out a recall.
