Do you know if its the 6speed one?
2011 avenger
Thinking about getting a 2011 but it has an issue. When it goes over 2500rpms it powers down then after a bit you can accelerate again they say its a wiring problem

Run a can of Seafoam in your gas tank. Not able to go over 2500 rpm is sometimes a sign of a clogged Cat. Seafoam can help clean the entire fuel system including the cat.
You should scan the ECU with a good OBD reader to see what's happening.
I just had a clogged catalytic converter. I know all the symptoms. Rpm issues are one of them. If you can, put your hand near the tailpipe and feel if it's hot and sticky. If it it it's a clogged catalytic converter.
