Hey guys I drive a 2012 Avenger 4 Cylinder and it’s been misfiring and giving the code P0340. I already changed the camshaft sensor but that didn’t fix the problem. All the spark plugs are in good shape. Is it possible that it’s a bad coil pack even though the computer doesn’t put out that code? And if not what else do you think I should check? Thanks in advance.

There could be an issue with electrical connections also. This is from another site:

Faulty Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor
Camshaft Position Sensor harness is open or shorted
Camshaft Position Sensor circuit poor electrical connection
Faulty Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
