My dodge keeps overhearing wile it is ideling.i have changed wayerpump, thermostat housing,and fans are running.its full of coolant

Did you install new thermostat(s) when you did the housing?

Yes I replaced them when I changed the housing.if I loosin the radiator cap it doesn't overheat.

There's a hint, did you replace the rad cap?

No I have not did that yet.it calls for a 16lbs,but somone said buy a 7lbs.rad cap

Yes I think the stock cap is 16lbs. I would use a direct replacement.
