It's getting warmer out and today I popped the hood and felt my intake pipe it was basically on fire I burned my hand on the metal. So I went to the Autoparts store and picked up some heat tape and tapped the metal intake pipe. I'm noticing a pretty big temp change and now. And when I down shift it grumbles pretty loud lol. I'll post some updated temps when my diablo comes in Monday, I want to try the cooking fan option!

Could the grumble be from the fact that by the cooling of the intake manifold you are possibly reducing piston pressure? If this is true, then I suggest doing a dyno run to compare shift times.
