Major electrical issues

    A fusible link IS THE FUSE. and it takes some serious doing for it to blow. They can be replaced, but it takes a little electrical skill, and knowledge of the color code rating of the fusible link. Also there may be places along the wire harness that have gone bad also. Will search for a thread by a member that had this happen recently and give you the members name and you can look it up on his profile information under his posts tab.

    Awesome thanks! I just saw fusible so I thought there’d be a fuse..lol

    Finally able to check in and see how things are going. We lost our ISP due to high winds and local power outages right after I posted last here. Just able to be back on line and "catching up"!

    Back with an update, I replaced the fusible link, was still having grounding issues, started huntignwires down again, and found the new alternator to be faulty, so replaced that again and we’re good to go now! Thanks for everyone’s help.

    Also, the line is $185 from dodge here in Phoenix, I had the mechanic at work make me one for $20 in wiring and a 12 pack of Dos Equis....
