It's time to upgrade my stereo and I wanted to look into getting a Mygig navigation unit. I have seen some online that are decently priced for RER models, but I have seen some RHR models also that are getting my interest.

From what I can tell the RHR model is basically the same as the RER with the exception of the bluetooth functionality and the combined GPS/Sirius antenna connector (which I can get and install).

So this brings me to my questions...

    • Is it possible to use the Mygig 730N RHR in a 2009 Avenger SXT 2.4L?
    • If so is there anything special I should know about the install (outside of the GPS/sirius antenna)?

(side note - the radios I am looking at are the low speed bus versions)

small update - was able to get one installed and working. The radio came from a 2011 Dodge Avenger so there wasn't any anti-theft code prompts.

Figured I would post my success story in case someone else has the same desire to go with the RHR
