Hello everyone, Today I come with a small question but something that bugs me a little bit. It’s been very hot recently, and I looked down and noticed my outdoor air temperature display on the dash says it’s only 75. I know for a fact it’s warmer than that, and the reading does not change at all. Just the other day it was reading 89 so so know it goes higher than 75. Is there something I can do to recalibrate the sensor, or does the sensor need to be replaced? Again, not a big issue, just something that’s been bugging me. any help is greatly appreciated!

I know the dealer can test it using their scan tool. It's probably a bad ground somewhere. Would be much less expensive to get an aftermarket digital thermometer.

I had the same problem with my 2014 avenger and ended up replacing the thermocouple. It's located behind the front bumper and I think I paid less than $20.00 for it. I don't think they can be recalibrated.
