Polybushings front engine mount.

    I think its a good mod. Helped with the wheel hop and made the car stiffer. There is a tad bit more vibration at idle but it's not terrible. Also noticed more engine noise after the install as well.

    Installed mine it was well worth it. Car shifts firmer and the biggest improvement no more exhaust smell under full throttle ! And that being due to engine movement and the slip joints in the pipes being exposed. Johnny shipped it out fast and it was about a 10 min job using a lift.

    Well worth it, to my knowledge this is still the cheapest mod out for our cars.

    I see the last post on this was 3 years ago, so this is a late question. Back in the day, as I like to say, we used a length of chain and a turn buckle, strapping the left side of the engine to the frame so the torque would go to the ground rather than be lost in the motor mounts. Does this product work in a similar way?

    Yes it does, and because the OE design is set up for "grannie" driving it would improve lifespan of mount under more "spirited" driving. Also going after firming up the rear mount would help also for the "twist" under "spirited" driving of our transverse mounted powertrain rides.
