Here is a list of the programmable features that our cars have if not equipped with the EVIC.

All this stuff is in the users manual but I figured I would post them here as a lot of people don't read all of the manual because its so big.

Non Electronic Vehicle Information Center (EVIC) - Customer Programmable Features

Remote Key Unlock, Driver Door/All Doors First:
1. Press and hold the LOCK button on a programmed
transmitter for at least four seconds, but not longer than
ten seconds. Then, press and hold the UNLOCK button
while still holding the LOCK button.
2. Release both buttons at the same time.
3. Test the feature while outside of the vehicle, by
pressing the LOCK/UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter
with the ignition in the LOCK position, and the key
removed.

Flash Lights with Lock:
1. Press and hold the UNLOCK button on a programmed
transmitter for at least four seconds, but not longer than
ten seconds. Then, press and hold the LOCK button
while still holding the UNLOCK button.
2. Release both buttons at the same time.
3. Test the feature while outside of the vehicle, by
pressing the LOCK/UNLOCK buttons on the transmitter
with the ignition in the LOCK position, and the key
removed.

Sound Horn with Lock:
1. Press the LOCK button on a programmed transmitter
for at least four seconds, but not longer than ten seconds.
Then, press the PANIC button while still holding the
LOCK button.
2. Release both buttons at the same time.
3. Test the feature while outside of the vehicle, by
pressing the LOCK button on the transmitter with the
ignition in the LOCK position, and the key removed.

Express Down Windows Feature:
press and release the UNLOCK button on the transmitter and then
immediately press and hold the UNLOCK button until
the windows lower to the level desired or until they
lower completely.

Automatic Unlock Doors On Exit:
1. Close all doors and place the key in the ignition.
2. Cycle the ignition switch between LOCK and ON and
then back to LOCK four times ending up in the LOCK
position.
3. Depress the power door unlock switch to unlock the
doors.
4. Repeat these steps if you want to return this feature to
its previous setting.

Disable BeltAlert (Seat Belt Chimes):
NOTE: The following steps must occur within the first
60 seconds of the ignition switch being turned to the ON
or START position. DaimlerChrysler does not recommend
deactivating Beltalert.
1. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position and
buckle the driver’s seat belt.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and wait
for the Seat Belt Warning Light to turn off.
3. Within 60 seconds of turning the ignition switch to the
ON position, unbuckle and then re-buckle the driver’s
seat belt at least three times within 10 seconds, ending
with the seat belt buckled.
NOTE: Watch for the Seat Belt Warning Light to turn on
while unbuckling and off while re-buckling the seat belt.
It may be necessary to retract the seat belt partially each
time when unbuckling.
4. Turn the ignition switch to the LOCK position. A
single chime will sound to signify that you have successfully
completed the programming.

NOTE: Your dealer can set many other features for you that are unaccessible through manual user programming.

Also note: Repeating one of the above procedures will turn the feature on from off, or off from on.

Kind of surprised that I got the chime disabled on Our 2011 Avenger Heat, that as far as I know, Does have the EVIC system.
It took a couple of tries and I had to have the engine running ( not at all sure why it had to be running)....It IS Nice to be able to drive the short distance to Our place after stopping to p/u the mail and not have the chime be ringing...the seatbelt light still is on when the belt is unbuckled.
Next is to see if I can get the driver's side window to do a "1-touch Up" operation!!
