Horn beeps randomly when car is running and not running. I got a new clock spring but it does not have the angle sensor. Can i still use it and leave the angle sensor unplugged? If not how can i tell if cloxk spring is good or bad

Don't know what shape the steering column is in on yours, but a common "quirk" is for the horn actuator assembly under the steering wheel air bag to get loose and can cause the horn to sound off at inopportune times.

Just to add I don't think you can leave the angle sensor unplugged as it feeds so many modules.

***I was able to get the correct clock spring as suggested and that was not the problem. I noticed that under the air bag was a metal plate that made the horn beep and that plate was loose. Could that be the problem?
