hey there long time. i woke up this morning and said ima throw a new deck in since the stock deck sucks. so i called best buy and asked if they had everything i needed, and they said yes. well i was excited till he told me the price for the wire harness was like 70-80 bucks. never in my life have i paid over 15-20 bucks for a wire harness. so what i need to know is what am i lookin at on price for one of these, and what is the part called and if it has a part # that would be great. the radio i was going to put in is a single din JVC hd radio, so please help with this. thank you

I went with a pretty basic harness I got from someone oh here and I haven't had any issues at all.
I used this dash kit: metra 99-6511 from installer.com, and the harness I have is: metra 71-6522. don't forget the antenna adapter also. Hope this helps!

I used the PAC interface (c2r-chy4) and the SWI-JACK (steering wheel buttons)
Cost about 80 bucks for both with some internet shopping. You can use a straight plug adapter but you will lose all the warning tones in the car since they run though the radio. You'll also need an adapter for the antenna.

I installed a iData Link Maestro RR in my Avenger. it retains full Uconnect controls, steering wheel controls and the use of all the factory USB ports and microphone

I just put in a regular old harness and got the power wire from the 12v plug then bought a modual for the steering wheel controls.
