Sometimes when i change from D to R or viceversa i hear (and feel) some hit inside the transmission like it grabbed the gear abrubtly..

has anyone had this problem? os something similar?

other than that the car is great and this doesnt happen that often..

I see you have the SXT 2.4L, so check and make sure your Avenger has had the transmisson programing update.

Mine did that too, and I took it in, and they said they reflashed it, but it still does it. I think they didn't flash it, and just told me they did.

If they did the work you should find a "Authorized Modification Label" attached to the controller with the new info.

make sure its not a loss of prime ane you may have to have the tranny broken down and checked
