I have a 2010 Avenger and want to add in the Gauge cluster with the EVIC. Just want to confirm that it is plug and play. Also , are the EVIC controls ( Center console?) also plug an play?

I saw a few other posts saying that people just swapped them and they worked, minus the odometer being off.

By the sounds of it you'll have to get the dealer to get involved for programming the option code into your ECU. There are a lot of threads on the forum on this topic but no real definitive answer.

so a year later... im gunna do this myself. More off-forum reading ad it does seem the functions of the EVIC may already be in the car, just the EVIC itself is cluster related... if that makes sense...
Basically, it seems that by swapping it it should work. The odo should be updated, but the dealer is playing games, my car may go from 253k down to 109k for my pockets sake...
