Which engine?

With all the talk in the news about VW and the "defeat" software, do we have the vw ea189 engine or is it something else? Should we be worried?

As far as I am aware the Avenger was fitted with the ECD engine. The software you are referring to was only used from 2009 so any engines before then will not be affected.

I did some research on this a while back, and while I don't have any info to hand, I can assure you that our engines are not affected. Hope this helps.
