Do you mean just the muffler or what exactly? What size engine do you have, 2.4?

 

before the muffler it is 2", after the muffler it is 2.25"

 

I have the 2.4l Iam wondering this because I want to know what size pipes to get for the muffler. The muffler is going to be duel outlet. Does anybody have any suggestions on which one to get?

 

I took off my stock exhaust and used the old piping to put in a cherry bomb. Similar to this but I only did single out and didn't use any of the reducers. It has a great sound with no loss of flow/back pressure. Haven't posed pic's yet though because I'm still working on getting it to hang right.

I would stick with 2" piping going to the muffler, and if it is a higher flow muffler and you are doing dual out I would use 2" piping all around. Defiantly don't go bigger than stock on the piping.

 

You can always flange out to 3" tips if you like the look of larger pipes. Just stay stock size until the end of the pipe.

 

I havent checked mine but I thought it was 2.25" from cat to ressy, then I think it went down to 2" for the rest. Like I said I havent checked.

 

so did i mess up using 2.5 pipe from cat to tip :hitfan:
