No Rear Blinkers or Brake Lights

I have a problem with my brake lights and rear turn signals. I checked every fuse and pulled out each light bulb. I replaced both turn signal/brake lights and even replaced the "high" brake light that is mounted the the lid of the trunk. The center/high brake light works, but the other two lights do not. The front turn signals work, but blink fast. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
PSR

What year car is it ? do your four way flashers work?

If the four ways don't work, then it seems that there is a break in the circuit somewhere. Usually when the lights blink fast like that, a bulb is out. Since you replaced all of yours, I would doubt that's the problem.

Maybe even get out a voltmeter to see if there is any current getting to the bulbs.

The four ways don't work. My Avenger is a 2008 SE. While I checked every fuse, I'm still unsure what fuse actually belongs to the brake lights/rear turn signals. Does anybody know the fuse cavity number? The owner's manually does not provide full detail of the fuse box.
Also, does this sound like a relay issue? If so, is there a dedicated relay for these lights?

Thanks,
Preston

May sound like a Can-Bus issue but first........ Thing we need to know.

1-Were the removed bulbs blown?
2-Have you been doing any light work back there?
3-Do you have a trailer tow plug?
Why not try disconnecting battery for 10mins, got nothing to loss!

And, one more question...

When you checked the fuses, did you only visually look at them or did you test them with a voltmeter set on continuity? If it's only a visual inspection, that sometimes isn't good enough. I've already had fuses that looked fine but were blown.

yes please try that then post us what you find

I checked the fuses visually at first, but then checked them with a voltmeter. All are in good condition.

Q Were the removed bulbs blown?
A No, the removed bulbs were not blown.

Q Have you been doing any light work back there?
A No work to that area was done that may have caused this issue.

Q Do you have a trailer tow plug?
A I have not checked to see if there is a trailer tow plug. I'll have to check tomorrow.

Also, I'll disconnect the battery as suggested.

After racking my brain for a couple weeks I finally took the car into the service department. There was an issue in the TIPM that resulted in no brake lights and no rear turn signals. Luckily this was covered under my warrenty, but I still had a $100 deductible. Check this issue off the list. I appreciate the previous responses.
